Out-of-Town Teams

Welcome and thank you for choosing to play in the FC Memorial Challenge.

Here is some information you will want to know:

Will we have to play on Thursday or Friday? No, we do our best not to schedule out-of-town teams on Friday, but please expect a early game on Saturday. If you are able to play on Friday, please advise us.

What fields will we be playing on? We cannot guarantee that one age group/gender will be playing all their games in the same center; you should expect to have games in multiple centers.

Facility Passes: The three (3) Edmonton facilities charge admission for adults between the ages of 18 - 59 yrs . We will provide each Non-EMSA league team with three (3) facility passes for free as part of your registration. Spectators will have to pay the admission fee of $4.00 or purchase a weekend pass for $8.00.

We would ask that you pick up your 3 free passes before your first game. It is important you pick them up at the facility where you play your first Edmonton based game.

Facility Waivers: ALL players and coaching staff MUST fill out and provide to headquarters prior to your first game a City of Edmonton facility waiver. The forms are available online at esaf.ca

Travel Documents: All out of province teams must submit travel sanction forms with their roster on or before 4:00pm on January 15, 2025.

West Edmonton Mall:

West Edmonton Mall provides group attraction passes that can be ordered at a reduced rate for groups larger the 14. The passes need to be ordered no less then 2 business days in advance & you must contact West Edmonton Mall Directly to place your group order.

Choice Passes are still be valid for 1 year as of date of purchase and you can still enjoy the following:

  • Day pass to World Waterpark OR Day pass to Galaxyland Amusement Park

OR any TWO of the following – same day use:

  • Day pass to Ice Palace (skate rental not included)
  • Day pass to Marine Life (including Sea Life Caverns and Sea Lions’ Rock)
  • One round (18 holes) at Professor WEM’s Adventure Golf
  • One round (18 holes) at Dragon’s Tale
  • 30 mins of bowling (shoe rental not included)
  • 30 mins of billiards at Ed’s Bowling
